North Shore Farms is expected to open before the end of the year, as construction continues in the heart of Mamaroneck.
No specific date has been set for the 13,000-square-foot North Shore Farms on Mamaroneck Avenue, where construction began over the summer. The new grocery store will replace the former site of the A&P supermarket, which has been closed for several years.
The new site will include several retail stores, including a CVS, which has already opened. No firm dates have been released for the other retailers. Officials have not announced which stores would be moving into the spaces.
North Shore Farms had exclusively operated on Long Island. The Mamaroneck location will mark its first foray north. On its website, North Shore Farms says “it offers the best of a grocery store, the best of a farmer’s market and the best of a specialty shop.”
